Privacy Policy for HSS

HSS Platform has formulated this privacy policy to clarify HSS’s policy regarding the use of any personal information it collects about HSS customers and users regarding other services provided by HSS (such as websites and applications specific to HSS). This privacy policy aims to allow these customers and users to understand how HSS handles their personal information along with their rights regarding their personal information.

In general, HSS will handle the personal information shared by customers or users along with other information that HSS can collect regarding the services provided in a legal, fair, and transparent manner. HSS has considered internationally recognized principles regarding the protection of personal data when defining its policies, such as the principle of purpose specification, storage limitations, data minimization, data quality, and confidentiality.

The controller for all personal data processing operations carried out through the websites or applications managed by HSS is headquartered in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.

When providing services to customers, service providers, or users through the websites or applications managed by HSS (all referred to as "HSS Services"),

When requesting services from HSS through the websites, you will be asked to provide personal data about yourself. This may include your name, family name, phone number, full address, and sending official government-issued identification cards and information.

In many sections of the HSS websites - including, in particular, account creation pages and their forms - you will be asked to provide personal data about yourself such as your name, phone number/mobile phone number, email address, country of residence, and information related to the company you work for and your position in that company. If the services provided on these websites require payment, and when you participate in surveys, promotional offers, or competitions that may be available on the websites of the HSS platform, and also when you decide to communicate with HSS through the contact details provided on these websites (or otherwise, by phone or email with HSS customer service), HSS may collect additional data you choose to provide, to the extent necessary to handle your request or inquiry. The same applies to the information you choose to disclose in certain sections of the websites to HSS that allow you to participate in public forums or send messages directly to HSS.

When creating an account on HSS applications, you will be asked to provide personal data about yourself such as your name (first and last name), mobile phone number, email address, and information - along with your address (based on your location or chosen on a map).

The HSS application may receive personal data about you from its customers and service providers to allow HSS services to complete their services from these customers to you as a service provider to them.

When choosing to install HSS applications, you grant HSS permission to set up the selected application on your mobile phone ("device") and also access your personal data and other information stored on your device required to successfully install the application (such as device model, operating system version, screen resolution, type of network connection, language, etc.). Collecting this information is an integral part of the process of installing and setting up HSS applications, and therefore, you may not object to it unless you uninstall the application from your device.

Once you install the HSS application, you may be asked to allow the application to access your device’s location even when you are not using the application and to access your device’s map functions. This is intended to allow HSS to provide you with more accurate and useful HSS services through the application, especially by allowing you to precisely determine your location for quick service delivery to you.

When you contact the HSS customer support team by phone, HSS is scheduled to save the call recording made between you and the HSS customer support agent - this is primarily to keep evidence of service-related requests or complaints handled over the phone (to allow HSS to show how they were handled), and for quality monitoring/training purposes. You will be notified of this through a pre-recorded message displayed at the beginning of the call.

HSS does not usually need to process more sensitive categories of personal data, such as data that reveals your racial or ethnic origin, your political opinions, your religious or philosophical beliefs, your trade union membership, or other types of sensitive information related to you.

To provide HSS services in a lawful manner, HSS may be required to investigate customers/users/recipients against government banned party lists, sanctions lists, active watch lists, as well as databases of persons exposed to political risks. HSS may be required to confirm whether its customers or users are allowed in its services or whether they meet other necessary requirements for government purposes.

You can find information regarding the use of cookies in the cookie policy available on each website.

This privacy policy came into effect on November 23, 2024. HSS Platform reserves the right to make partial or complete amendments to this privacy policy or merely update its content, for example, as a result of changes in applicable law. HSS will notify you of any significant changes as soon as they are made (through a pop-up window on the HSS website, and through email notifications sent to customers/users/recipients listed in the HSS mailing lists). Changes are binding as soon as they are published.
